Yesterday at work my Big toe broke the fall of a heavy glass shelf. Because I saved the life of the shelf i am now not enjoying my life right now. I've never felt this much pain before, and hope to never feel anything like this ever again.

Today, I had a very important job interview with Byer Califonia. Just because of my disability I HAD to go to this interview. So the only shoe that fit my FAT TOE were my combat boots. How unprofessional, i know! Had no choice. But luckily they understood, and I did really well in my interview!!! Hope to hear from them next week with some good news.

Anyways, what I wanted to say was that: the smallest part of your body can effect your entire body and also your life. This toe makes it really difficult to walk around, brings chills down my back, shooting pains up my leg, and sleepless nights. So it is extremely important to put your health and safety as a first priority. We only have one, so make it last long.

Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel's Fall/Winter 2010 collection was showcased in Paris a few weeks ago. I must say, some pieces used the fur (i hope it was Faux Fur-i doubt tho) in a complementary way to go with the non-fur material, but in other pieces it just ended up looking like Sashsquash was walking down the runway. I felt he took the theme a lil to literal and lost the Chanel's classic, chic, and mod look! However, I can't hate on uniqueness he took Chanel in a new direction and change is always a good thing.

I just couldn't wait till this movie is over. What movie? "The Pregnancy Pact" on Lifetime. Its based on a true story about 17 girls in one high school getting pregnant at the same time. Not one of the girls are older than 16 yrs old when they came up positive.

4 of the girls made a pact to be pregnant at the same time so that they can raise their kids together, and that their kids can grow up together and be best friends. They just find it to be so glamorous and nothing but cute, fun lil times.

It surprises me that these girls have no other goals for themselves other than being a mother. Every girl has the potential to explore their dreams, the world, and their options. I have nothing against teen pregnancy (few of friends that became a teen parent, usually by accident), its just when they are so closed minded from the opportunities that awaits them.

its all about communication between the parents and the child. and by that i mean, an open and comfortable relationship between them is key.

This was a fashion spread for the Feb 09 issue of Vogue. and i just fell in love with these Russian Fur Hats! I was determined to find the "one" for me. At the time Summer was right around the corner and i really didnt find any of these sold anywhere. but the search continued.

It wasn't until yesterday that I found the "one." I was in SF and i found SOOO many of them being sold at Vintage shops. In all sorts of styles and sizes, but most of them just weren't the "one" At Aadvark's Odd Ark (1501 Haight St. SF, CA) and amongst all the amazing finds there I found the "one"!!!!! and for only $22.00. they even had real squirrel stoles! they are straight official with their vintage game.

So i peeped it and wow. i never knew. He captures the most natural beauty of San Diego. Looking through his album def made me miss "sunny San Diego" i am usually not into photography that is so simple, but i am so intrigued by his simplicity and how he works with the natural light source. and especially the moment he captures when the sun is setting or when the water hits the rocks.

Amongst all the shots mixes i consumed i remember one conversation i had with a friend. I was saying that now that i am older and wiser i cherish the friends i have, the friends i have today are more than friends, it's family. I dont waste my time on "so-so" friends. i think i have a great network of friends and would like to build stronger relationships with them. And also I think i am wiser when i chose new homies. I try to build a strong relationship with anyone in my life because life is all about the relationships you have with people. You can't enjoy your life alone.

but my favorite are when people say they don't have one because new years resolutions are meant to be broken/ or that just dont want one. I honestly think its BS! i believe the purpose of a resolution is to make progress in your life. pushing yourself to be that better person u strive to be. NO ONE IS PERFECT. Perfect is in the eyes of the beholder.

anyways here are my goals/resolution for 2010:

1. trip to NEW YORK! live as they do.

2. cut back on rice and potatoes (baaaaad Carbs)

3. smoke trees privately not socially.

4. develop a successful blog. (which means more blogging!!)

5. train and complete a marathon

6. by the end of the year pay my parents back at least $5,000

7. but first, establish a career

8. work my first collection for Fall/Winter

im sure you have all hear the news about the "hot, young" hollywood couple Chris Brown and Rihanna unfortunate situation. Prior to this you've only seen them making music videos, on the red carpet, making bubble gum commercials, and as a fashion/hair icon. Now all of that is forgotten, they are real people with jealousy, anger, rage, and no self control.

Chris is ONLY what 19???20 the most? he is still a BOY and he is capable of doing that much damage!?? What could have possessed him to continue to beat her that way he did? Also i heard that this was not the first physical abuse he's committed. What upsets me the most is that he is a boy, a boy that thinks he is a MAN to think he has that much power over his girl to hit her?! I dont care if he watched his mom get beaten as growing up (thats another unfortunate situation) but i would think he would grow to know that those actions are not right. especially if it was your MOTHER getting beaten?! wouldnt you think one would have more respect for women havin to watch his MOTHER go through that abuse.

Somewhere in between he got lost. Maybe the fame, maybe the puberty, maybe the parental guidance. who knows! but i sure do know is that this just shows that CHIVALRY IS DEAD! if a BOY that sings love sappy song to females and then treats his main chick like this. Something is wrong with the youth today.

a found new passion for fashion! after my recent class of fashion show production and as the head merchandise coordinator for the show, an interest in styling emerged and is now taking a full ride. I always say, that i hate staying comfortable in one spot. if your living comfortably that means your ready for a new challenge.

Lately i have been workin closely with a local photographer, Oriana Deamis. She is fantastic person and a very talented photographer. I styled our first shoot, we were going for an edgy, urban with a diva-est steez and rough flava. so how do you like it so far?
